Whitetail Pedestal Series by Don Holt

Mounting any pedestal form requires a little more work and forethought than mounting the standard upright pose. Because there is considerably more shoulder, always leave enough cape to cover this extended area. Decide if you are going to finish the back and with type of material, some taxidermists choose to cover the area with extra hide while others use leather, felt or flock.
